John Lee (Interview featured on A Man's World, July 5, 2005)

John Lee is a counselor specializing in masculine psychology, men’s issues & co-dependency and is also the director of the Austin (TX) Men’s Center. Mr. Lee has been in the vanguard of so much of the vital research, awareness & training of the on-going Men’s Movement. His book The Flying Boy: Healing the Wounded Man in a seminal work and an invaluable guide to defining and discovering “true masculinity”; as well, it points a clear path out of co-dependency and addictive relationships. It is a book about feelings – losing them, finding them and finally expressing them – most especially expressing them without fear.

What is the vital difference between grieving and self-pity?
What are the signs of a man’s wounds and how can a woman best cope with and help her man?
What is the best, most direct way out of a man’s woundedness?
